We are situated in the centre of the lovely Lakeland village of Ambleside, less than 5 minutes walk away from many of the villages many shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. Our house was built in the Victorian era, traditional slate on the outside and clean and modern on the inside.
During the uncertainty of Covid 19 we have a few changes to the booking process. We will be taking deposits for the first night of the stay and this will be non refundable except for government issued closures. The rest of the payment owed will be not be taken until your arrival date and cancellation will incur no further charge up until a week before your arrival date.
At 3 Cambridge Villas in Ambleside, the safety and well-being of our guests is our highest priority. As we all continue to monitor the coronavirus COVID-19, we want to make you aware of the measures we have implemented to help safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone who stays with us. With this in mind, we have made a few changes to our usual way of doing things…
WHAT’S NEW?
At check-in we will respect the social distancing procedures at all times – there will be no hand shaking! We will try to keep things as brief as possible – sanitised guest information leaflets will be available in rooms providing further detail if required.
Room keys will be sanitised for collection upon arrival.
Tables in the dining room have been spaced to conform with social distancing guidelines. There will be no self-serve buffet for the time being, but the same selection can be pre-ordered and served to you at your table.
Medical grade alcohol hand sanitiser gel will be available in Reception and at the Breakfast Room door, for guests to use as they please, as an added safeguard
For guests staying more than one day – we will be picking up trash and used towels outside your door. We will be asking if you need supplies for your room over breakfast time and then deliver them to your room. We will not enter your room during your stay, unless you specifically wish us to do so.
We will take payments automatically on arrival day using the card information received from guests on-line at the time of booking, to ensure safe transactions whilst you are with us.
